Volunteer Day 7/10/26 & Seven Sharp TV Crew
Our volunteer days run every Wednesday, unless advised otherwise. It’s a chance to get your hands dirty and support local conservation efforts right here on the Russell Peninsula.
Exciting news! This Wednesday morning, a 7Sharp camera crew is coming to film us in action. They’ll capture the decommissioning of traplines and gear in the Old Russell elimination zone, the refurbishing of that gear at the depot, and the installation of new lines in Paroa Bay or Tikitikioure.
This feel-good story celebrates our long-running community effort, its success, and how it ripples out to inspire other projects.
We’d love as many volunteers as possible! Some will head out into the bush; others will work at the depot or bake goodies. Please spread the word and let me know if you can make it.
