WANT TO HELP CLEAR THE WEEDS OUT ON THE ISLANDS?
Project Island Song is looking for some keen volunteers to help clear weeds from the islands. Thanks to some recent funding we are looking to boost our weeding trips in 2025. Are you keen to do some volunteer mahi clearing weeds out on the islands? If so, get in touch or sign up today.
To make the weeding trips viable we need to have at least 6 weedbusters per trip heading out to the islands. We provide the boat transport and tools. Please note, a good level of fitness is required to walk to sites and pull some pesky weeds. Wednesday and Saturday options available throughout the year.

Being out on the islands, listening to the wildlife, taking in the fresh air and being physical can be great for your wellbeing. You work to your own limits and it’s an opportunity to meet like minded people from across the region.
