Join Nik and Todd from the Predator Free Russell trapping team for a hands-on introduction to servicing a trapline. They’ll guide you through the process, which includes walking a route or trail, checking traps, rebaiting, reviewing camera footage, and recording any findings. Traplines are ideally serviced every 1 to 3 months.
There are trails available in Tapeka, the Ecosanctuary, and many spots in between. Whether you’d like to work independently or prefer to be paired up with someone, we’ll make it work for you.
When: Wednesday, 29 January, 5:00 PM
Where: 43 Matauwhi Road (RLT Depot)
By volunteering to service these lines, you’ll help free up our team to focus on cutting new trails, deploying additional traps, and tackling “hotspots.”
Come along to learn more and make a difference!
