Conservation Week runs from 1 to 7 September 2025. It’s a great opportunity to do something good for nature, and show others how they can too.
Nature in Aotearoa New Zealand is like nowhere else on Earth. It’s also in serious trouble. Over 4,000 native species are now threatened or at risk of extinction.
This Conservation Week, DOC is calling on all Kiwis – businesses, communities and individuals – to take action for nature. Even small actions make a difference. If you share what you’re doing on your socials, your impact is even bigger.
